Q: Does Triangle haze?
A: No. Penn State chapter Triangle is committed towards providing an environment of friendship and personal development; therefore there is no room to haze.
Q: How can I contact Triangle?
A: Janith Samarasinghe is the current recruitment chair, rjs5309@psu.edu and Michael Nickas is the current president, mjn5058@psu.edu. Both Brothers will be more than happy to field any questions, or point you to someone who can. If you are looking for a different position, please see our Contacts page
Q: What are the expenses of Triangle?
A: Pledge dues are $300, which will be reimbursed if you maintain a GPA of 3.0 during the pledging process. For more information see Studious Pledge Scholarship on the Scholarship page. After pledging, there are Brother's dues of $350 per semester. Rent is $1900 per semester for a standard room. Rooms include all utilities (cable, internet, heat, etc.), furniture (desk, closet, bed, shelves), and free access to our washer and dryer. You can also purchase catered dinners, Monday through Friday, for $500 a semester. Rent for brothers during the summer is $200 a month with all utilities still included. If this seems expensive, we offer many local scholarships to offset the cost of living.
